One of the best movies of the year so far. Great script, great cast, believable story. Director helped write screenplay and does fantastic job on both counts.
I understand the "Goodfellas" deja-vu; it's just not strong enough to be a distraction. (Narration is crucial for "Middlemen", 1 hour 45 minutes!)
Turns the ratio of most U.S. crime films upside down, (more sex than violence). Seems like that could be a problem for those who prefer murder to human sexual behavior. Works as satire of the American Dream.
The pop music soundtrack is good. And this is a very funny movie.
