This was christopher nolans major film after a low budget debut called following, This film shows what a mind he has as this is one of the most inventive original films I have seen in which he later directed Batman begins and the dark knight. Aussie actor guy pierce is excellent in this as he is searching for his wifes killer although he cant remember what happened 10 minutes before hand as he hit his head when his wife was murdered and now suffers short term memory loss. The film pretty much travels backwards and forwards with Leonard[pierce] having tattoos of writing all over his body and writing notes and pictures so he knows who he is searching for and keeps the clues of people he meets in order to find the killer. Alot of people may need to view this a second time as I sure did but is quite an interesting and well thought out experience.
