Melancholia(2011)- User Reviews

As if Tristan und Isolde wasn't already an oppressive depressing piece of music, pair it with the claustrophobic equally depressing "Melancholia" and endless closeups of Kirsten Dunst trying to act while being filmed by an intentially amateurish jumpy camera (which became annoying after 3 seconds) to make a movie experience which was totally inspiring... Inspiring me to fast forward once I realized the boring stifling wedding from hell wasn't ending anytime soon and was playing out in real time. Fast forward to the end: planetary collision, and not a moment too soon to put this horrid movie and it's pathetic characters out of their misery.
