Every director should realize that they need to be fishing for viewers, at least at the very beginning of the movie! This beginning is VERY CONFUSING!! The only clear plot point in the movie is that the earth faces a cataclysm VERY SOON! Why do all the characters behave in very strange ways? The reasons for their actions are never explained. None of them get any better, only worse. This makes this movie very sad. So, why watch??
