Or is it that "despair" is the path of least resistance? Remember this brief coversation in the movie? And yet, the entire movie revolves around this theme.

I thought the movie was excellent. And much as I love Narnia, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Van Helsing, et al, it was nice to see an "adult" movie (minus what we've come to consider as "adult" scenes; know what I mean?), dealing with adult issues.

Allen is at his philosophical/ethical best. This is truly a movie for adults who like to think.

And p.s.: Despair is the path of least resistance. Faith takes work!
