The movie was almost excellent. Great acting by Langella especially and of course Dolph Lundgren. The Story could have been more interesting, Directing seemed limited, Visuals pretty good. All-in-all it was very well-done. I heard though many of the problems were because veyr little money was put into it. Which is why parts are excellent and parts are lacking. You great acting, but the Director is limited from being to complement the acting to the fullest. The Story also had to be written to work with the budget again slashing any possiblity for a complete masterpiece. It's too bad they never made the planned sequel, although they turned it into a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie called Cyborg: Masters of the Universe II. Has absolutely no connection to this movie. I wonder if anyone would be up for a re-make of Masters of the Universe, I don't see anyone being against it. I myself was 5 when this movie came out and I know most of my generation grew up with it and a new cartoon is on the Cartoon Network. only problem the perfect He-Man and Skeletor, Langella and Lundgren are alittle old now and more importantly will they commit to it? Anywho awesome flick one of the top 30 movies ever.
