I confess that I did not see the beginning of the film but was immediatly drawn in to the story and the lives of the characters. At the end of the movie I was unable to decide on an opinion, my friend who saw the film with me suffered the same fate. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I loved how the poignant story of the dying man and the widowers are balanced by flashbacks to an adolescent cotillion class.
