Manly Love(1997)

Esperanze is a 40-year-old, single, nursery school teacher who shares a longing for the love of a man with her close friend Ramon, a lawyer with a large network of gay friends. Hatching reciprocal matchmaking schemes, Ramon tries to set up Esperanza with a confused client who is seeking a divorce but is in denial about the real reason his marriage is breaking up, while Esperanza attempts to steer phys-ed instructor Roberto into her friend's arms. Ramon falls heavily for the sullen hunk, who initially is uninterested. When he comes around, Ramon's sudden unavailability to Esperanza and his other friends causes a rift.
