this film in my opinion is trying to pay homage
to martial art films of yester-years 70s era.
there so much fast pace action its hard to keep up
with the storyline.
the director rza is also the main actor character the blacksmith who loses both arms hence being call the man
with the iron fists.
he sets on a quest to revenge the men who took away his
arms. lucy liu plays a madam who runs a local brothel
a mysterous stranger enters her establishment looking some
local entertainmemt and rest possibly for the night.
he demands another customers woman a brutal fight comes into play. the stranger played by russell crowe kills
him.
making him instantly the man for the house.
this film is bloody from beginning to the end if your'e a
kung fu fan this film is for you
