While tony scotts flasy quick camera shots may be abit stylish its also pretty annoying and headache inducing and got even worse with scotts next film Domino the following year. Washington is one of the greatest actors but this raw revenge film didnt do it for me like kill bill and it also felt as though by the director creating these flashy shots hes making up for the fact that the movies plot is rather dumb and not very pleasant to watch either which isnt a good combination.
