A great horror movie indeed! Whether you are male or female...you will find yourself jumping out the seat. I am male and unfortunately knocked over my own bag of popcorn. Yeah....you will scream like straight punk! Lol I did. Lost all kinds of points. Del Toro stylishly serves the audience a swift kick to rear from beginning to the end of the movie. The story, graphics and creativity of the characters is certainly worth the time! It was very reminiscent of the movie, "The Grudge". If you remember when you seen it, people were dropping cell phones, knocking over their sodas....you name it. My date even walked out the theatre to go smoke a cigarette her nerves were that raised. Lol And because of her squeamish jumps, it made me jump and scream! Can't say embarrassed about it too much, the whole audience felt the surge of "Mama"s vicious and unrelenting beating that it delivers. Check it out....see for yourself. :)
