This is the British version of Norma Rae, one of my favorite movies of all time. I couldn't help comparing the two, and this one comes out second in terms of dynamic acting, direction, and level of intrigue & tension. Howeve, it definitely delivers the strong message and makes us aware of what women had to go through to get us to where we are today. It's interesting and inspiring and leaves the audience feeling good about how far we've come.
