This movie didn't play in most theaters in the SF Grey Area. Neither did Atlas Shrugged. This could be because these movies tend to shine a light on genocide and tyranny, which the liberal, media elite obviously don't like. I'm sure Blockbuster will be sold out just as they were with Atlas Shrugged. Speech is only free if you're in their political party. 2+2=5. Rotten Tomatoes sucks, and I watch all the movies they hate most, because they are ideologues who could no sooner objectively critique a film than they could tie their own shoes or wipe their own drool bubbles.

anything that has to do with good these days DOES NOT DO IT...WHY?? BECAUSE A LOT OUT THERE HAVE HAD NOT BEEN RAISED IN THE BEST CONDITIONS SO WHEN GOOD COMES ALONG....HOW CAN THEY RELATE??? THEY CAN'T...BUT BRING ALONG HATE,MALICE,REVENGE,PAY BACK,WORK YOUR WAY TO THE TOP TYPE OF MOVIES AND YOU WILL LOAD UP THE MOVIE THEATER!!! just think how these movie critics today would of rated the movies made in the 50's and 60's?? most of them would of given those movies from C's to D-'s!!!!! believe it!!!

To complain about how little it made you have to put more context in to this. I go to plenty of movies and NEVER HEARD OF IT. Never heard a negative comment from critics either. Just flat out never heard of it. If people don't hear of a movie they are less likely to be interested in it.

You are joking right Linda? The fact that it's about black people has little to do with why it didn't do well at the box office. Goldfly is party correct. I've never heard of this movie and I go to A LOT of movies. If you don't advertise a movie they aren't going to do well. It has nothing to do with black people. That is ridiculous.

I have not read Linda comment concerning this movie Big Daddy. I do however, believe that this and other movies with heart touching meaning which symbolize that Black People are Gods children just as much as any other races (as we call people of difference) and specially those in Africa. Our country (America) and England, down plays them or keep them out of the greater public knowledge. I know not their main reason for this, but one purpose is to keep the majority of their or our world thinking and believing the entire Black Race of people world wide are beneath them as they have done in the pass. Which they are still doing a great job of it.

Al Gore and Michael Moore get free advertising. The left doesn't want anymore Blackhawk Down or Tears of the Sun type movies which show the brutality of our Arab Moslem enemies. Your local news and the Daily Show can't tell you that Islam is the religion of peace while they refuse to cover the genocides going on in North Africa and the Middle East, if movies which defy this rhetoric are being bandied about freely.

I concur. They did the movie Couragous the same way..It deserved more attention but the critics didn't broadcast it because it touched on religion.."Courageous" and this are EXCELLENT movies everyone should see.
