An unwatchable film. An hour and a half of Mahjong and tea followed by sex scenes which look less like passion and more like rape, which undermines the premise of the entire film. I feel abused by Ang Lee for finishing it.more»7 of 17 people found this review helpful-

I don't know why this movie got such a high rating from the yahoo viwers. More likely is the culture thing. Most of them probably are Chinese and one-sided to view this movie.
