This movie doesn't really have a story. It doesn't really have a plot. The movie is more about a condition. The story pretty much follows Wilson (played amazingly by Philip Seymour Hoffman) around for the first 3 weeks or so after his wife has died. It shows how he copes with it, and I think PSH just develops his character great just by himself. I'd also like to add that I enjoyed the performance of the man playing Denny just as much.
