When I first saw the trailer, I was laughing hard and when I got the film from Netflix, I didn't laugh out loud hard. I was disappointed because I hardly laughed at this film and there wasn't one scene that made me laugh hard. I only mildly laughed at a couple of scenes and maybe just a pinch of a chuckle. COME ON!!!!! it could have been funnier. This film does sort of teach you about life so that's the only positive film that I can about "Lottery Ticket". I give "Lottery Ticket" a C+ and 2 out of 4 stars. I like Brandon T. Jackson, Loretta Devine, Mike Epps, Keith David, Terry Crews, Charlie Murphy, and Ice Cube BUT the acting could have been better and everything else should have been better. This isn't my biggest disappointment ever though. I've had movies that disappointed me 10 times more than "Lottery Ticket". I'm not saying that this film is a bad movie then again it also isn't a good movie. Not GOOD not BAD just OKAY. My last words to this review is: "I've seen better comedy movies that have actually made me laugh out loud so hard".
