If your looking for a mindless bang-em-up, smash-em-up sci-fi movie like "Transformers" or "Battleship", "Loopers" will not appeal to you. This is thought provacative sci-fi, set not that far into the future. The element of time travel is only a part of it. You have two different actors playing one character and there is a lot at stake. Loopers are hitmen and you'll be routing for murders the entire movie. The early evolution of human beings developing telekenetics is also explored and the dangers it imposes. Everything in this movie has been done before but the way it is crafted makes the difference. Put on your "thinking cap" and see it!
