Look let's be honest if you actually paid to see this movie at the Theater you knew you were in for a bad sci-fi/action movie. The movie is very fast paced, there's a lot of humor, and the action is pretty good. The special effects aren't as good as they could be, but were pleasantly surprising. The story line was decent, but like all movies like this there were way to many questions marks surrounding a lot of the action.
If you like action films you'll definitely be entertained. It's a decent rental, and only good to watch at the theater if a) you're a Guy Pearce fan(he was pretty good in this role) and b) if you want to watch a movie in an empty theater(sometimes it's nice to watch a movie and not be bothered by other people).
It's a fun flick, but will not be on anyone's greatest movies list.
