The science fiction story concept was just okay, and overall the movie was boring. It is hard to pinpoint the problem, however better lead actors would be a good start. I guess I expected it to be as captivating as Alien was with Weaver in it. Also, in the back of my story mind I kept thinking now why would the government invest such vast resources for a jail in space instead of on Earth? It would have been expensive to build, get lifted into orbit and not to mention maintain.
