I thought the movie centered on one topic too much. There was very little on the overall war, no grand sope of the times, only the ins and outs of polictical give and take.
Acting was great . enjoyed Tommy Lee Jones as his character had some bite to it, thought Sally Fields was good and of course DDL gave a great performance.
Just thought there could have been more than what was given, the 13th amendment was certainly important , it just was not very entertaining.
