Very good acting doesn't make up for a very long & boring film

As my title suggests the acting is very good to great in this movie. However, this movie isn't about Lincoln's life as one would expect. This movie is about Lincoln swaying the democrats to vote for something they are against,ending slavery.
As another poster correctly commented, this film should be called the "13th amendment." This film is pretty much all talk. The story of this movie could have been told in about an 1 hour, but was stretched out to 2 and half hours.
