The performance of Daniel Day Lewis was very good, worthy of an Oscar. Without him there would be no movie. It was a very slow moving movie. A couple of people actually walked out of the theater, probably to get their money back. My mother had to walk outside for a few minutes to stay awake. That really helped, she was able to finish the rest of the movie after that. If not for Daniel Day Lewis we would have left too.
