Lincoln(2012)- User Reviews

I was truly brought to tears about a piece of legislation. These actors actually made me identify with the people that they played in the movie. Sally Field became "Mary Todd Lincoln" a person that I have read about for many years and whom I happen to like as well as our sixteenth President. I didn't realize just how funny he was and how thwe telling of his stories were to drive home the points he needed to get across to the different personalities of men and women he was to be dealing with in Washington at that horrific time in history. To put this movie into a category with other movies would do it an injustice because this movie has to stand all by itself. I have heard this mentioned by more people than myself.
