My wife and I saw the movie really late just to avoid the crowds but i wish i had seen it earlier. DDL portrayed Abraham Lincoln like Id thought he would be. I'd read books and seen shows about how he spoke and carried himself and DDL nailed it spot on. Its good to see a real life hero and thats what kids should inspire to be and look up to. Although some of the history was not correct and I knew this going in hoping it wasnt going to ruin the movie. I was very mistaken and this is one of the greatest movies made. its not an action movie its a story of humanity. Abraham Lincoln the greatest leader of all.
