We as a nation started slavery. How you would come to own another human being, to me, is beyond understanding. Steven Spielberg has painted a truthful depiction of a country drunk on greed and almost to the point of disrepair to the evils of slavery. It is really quite remarkable that Lincoln, our most beloved president, had the courage and conviction to fight to save our nation and at the same time give every american, black or white, a voice. Unfortunately, our black brothers and sisters still wage the war of equality to this day, but consider this, what kind of country would this be today with out Abraham Lincoln. This is a film of education and appreciation.
