This is a "must see" movie because it focuses on the basic question of how we deal with each other and it shines a spot light into our not-to-far distant history. Today, 12/28/12, congress must act, take a stand, and give their 'Yeas or Nays' to the "Fiscal Cliff" and "Gun Violence". This overpowering movie portrays the "Yeas and Nays" ratifying the 13th Amendment which votes were recorded forever into time. Above all, it imparts to us an understanding of the unique character and devotion, and love for this nation that Lincoln embodied.
