Lincoln(2012)- User Reviews

I was not very impressed with this film at all. There just wasn't enough variety in the scenes to warrant my full attention. (While I was watching this movie, I was thinking of what I had to do AFTER the movie was over. That's a bad sign!) I also didn't appreciate the amount of G-d's shouted out in the film. Lincoln was a godly man, so I doubt that he used the Lord's name in vain on a regular basis.

I did like Sally Field's portrayal as Mary Todd. She definitely should win an Oscar for her believable, genuine performance. I wish they could have given her even more to do, because the meetings with Lincoln and his advisors were boring!
