There was so much dialogue and no action, or at least when the action was shown, it was unnecessary. Then the movie showed …more»1 of 3 people found this review helpful-

I'm sure I'll be called a commie for saying this, but the movie was tedious and dull. I felt like I was being lectured for 2.5 hours by a long winded, boring history professor. At least a beneficial side effect of the film is to show the majority …more»1 of 3 people found this review helpful-

This movie brings history alive with raw emotion and shows how raw and raucous our political process was......and probably still is. It does not show actual slavery and only a few war scenes.
It is about the political process where ideas and ideals …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

Personal taste: It was a Very Good to Great movie with superior acting. Lincoln can …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful
