You forget you are watching a movie and become completely consumed with DDL's rendition of Lincoln. I am fascinated by the focus and concentration he offers while incorporating the most amazing degree of precision. It's a remarkable accomplishment …more»6 of 7 people found this review helpful-

Great acting, story you already know, no surprise ending (Lincoln is shot), no action, very few civil war scenes, basically over 2 hours watching a bill go through Congress. Made public TV look good. Too bad, could have been a classic. What was an interesting …more»4 of 33 people found this review helpful
