The cinematography is outstanding. Ome of the most beautiful movies. If possible I recommend you see the 3D version. Also, read the book first. The movie does leave out some parts of the book but basically stays close to the essence of the story. I didn't think the book could be made into a movie without losing a lot of the book's meaning.... but Ang Lee did a great job deliverying this tale.
