Life of Pi(2012)- User Reviews

I took in the film "The Life of Pi'. I found the film to be impressive with its outstanding computer graphics and photography which are so good that watching the film in 2d almost made me feel like I was watching it in 3d. I also found the film to be uneven and so slow moving, and or boring if you will, that by the time near the end of the film when the "hook" of the story is presented to the viewer, that is the story he supposedly makes up so its believable, most people are asleep that they miss it and as such walk out of the theater confused and bewildered. Although I thought that the faith based spiritual challenges of the lead character were a bit far fetched and the narrative somewhat slow moving I enjoyed the film for its imagery, the well acted performances, and the HOOK of the story at the end.
