I loved the book and when I love a book, the movie rarely captures it to my liking. But this one did, and then some. This is a magical world and in 3-D at least, this movie sweeps you up and puts you in the middle of the magic. All of the anxiety and tension feel so real and the hope as well. I took my 10 year old son and he liked it, too. If you love movies, which I do, you have to add this one to your list. For a purely cinematic standpoint, it is exceptional. Really.
