Saw it yesterday and can't say I was too impressed. Having read the book I knew what to expect and was amazed how the 'tiger in the boat' episode was presented - very clever indeed with no obvious cgi involvement. But I left the movie feeling …more»3 of 4 people found this review helpful-

I took my 3 1/2 year old grandson to see it and I had to explain a lot about how animals like to eat other animals for dinner. He was bored with it about 25% of the time and he is usually really good at movies with me. Some pretty heavy scenes that …more»4 of 6 people found this review helpful-

Loved it! Fantastic journey full of imagery and exotic realness. Ang Lee has done a remarkable job of bringing the book to life.
Suraj Sharma did an amazing job as Pi Patel, having acted in no other movie prior.
