It was ok. Bottom line: for a story this powerful, I wasn't nearly as moved as I should have been. Honestly, the most impressive performances were by the two children. Young Cosette and Gavroche (young boy with the rebels) were the most interesting performances. The actress who played Eponine was also a nice surprise. Other than that, the movie just didn't draw me into really caring about the characters the way it should have. Case in point.. I've seen tv mini series of this show that I liked more.
