i wasn't jumpin up and down and stepping on toes to see this movie. well, on boring friday night i watched it on hbo. what else did i have to do? nothing. i was pretty impressed by it. one of steve martin's best. liam neeson is in here too. he's irish. grrr...irish baby!! alright bad me. steve martin makes his living by putting on a religious charade and offering healings and prayers. you know those big out in the middle of nowhere big tent southern baptist revival thingies. yeah those. he's a swindler. is time is coming when his bus breaks town in a town that needs alot of help. not to mention a boy who cant' walk(lukas haas). his sister works at the local diner and steve martin tries to hook up with him. she sees straight through him. the sheriff is onto him too. liam neeson by the way. hello irish. *waves and giggles* i'm so bad. steve's right hand lady who handles the behind the scenes stuff ends up falling in love withe the sheriff. it just turns into a mess. this movie is good. there is comedy of coarse.
