At first i was about to take this movie out and rip it into billion of pieces. Because Steve Martin was the cheesiest fake preacher i have ever seen. half of the people in the choir for the movie I grew up with. Watch the female choir member looking into the camera when she supposed to be singing, that is my friend

There are a few classic movies out there that will both make you laugh and cry. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles being the perfect example.

Televangelists hated this movie because it reveals their sham.
Don't get me wrong. Not every preacher on TV is a scam. Many are fruitful.
But Steve Martin plays a guy who is admittedly just a show man.
