Killshot(2009)- User Reviews

I rented this with great interest because certains scenes were filmed in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the town I reside in. Unfortunately, most of these scenes were cut because a character played by Johnny Knoxville was cut out of the picture. I don't know if cutting out a character is what dulled this movie, but overall it didn't quite work for me. For one, it takes too long to get the main plot rolling. I don't know if the filmmakers were trying to avoid cliches or what, but the way the story was set up allowed for way too much exposition. There are some action scenes in the film, but they are too anticlimactic and ultimately the plot and actions of the characters become too unbelieveable, even for a movie.
