I loved the story. I love a lot of aspect, but most of all, the making off added a lot to it.
I've heard it has not been translated at all in the eglish version. So here's some interresting points :
This movie barrely costed anything. It's a project that took 6 years to bring up. Started with 3 guys, but slowly, ppl were geting interrested and joined up. At all, less then 100 people worked on that movie I think.(at least on the making/visial part).
Most importantly: you all saw there's some minor slow downs here and there. Nothing to care much about, but that apparently made some ppl think it was poor quality and such.
Well, usually, computer animated movies require extremly powerfull computers, and countless super-programs to do the animation. Usually, they pay million to get right on a probram to do a single funtion. If such program doesn't exist(per exemple, to generate the movemet of tree leaves), then they pay millions to get it programmed specially for them.
Now here's how this one was done: few programmers, on regular computers that you could buy from any specialised computer shop, and programming on regular 3d/animation program that you can buy in any shop(they do not mention which program).
This suddenly takes a very different turn, in my own. With patience and talent, and like 10,000$, you could do a sequel of this movie, with same graphical quality. And yet, it's being compared to movies like Final Fantasy, and such...
