A Lot To Say

This movie sure was not one of my favorites. Racial issues brought attention but I thought that there was going to be more. So I was somewhat disappointed. Im stuck watching Spike Lee films for my class for film study. I have watched a few of his films already and I am not overall impressed. In the beginning of Jungle Fever I became somewhat dizzy in watching this. For it seemed that the people in the background were put in somewhat of a slow motion. The drugs that Flippers brother used in this movie caused a major problem in that area for where he lived. Flippers brother continued to use drugs until it left his family in dismay and causing him to be out of control and than eneded up having his own father shoot him towards the end of this film. Flipper was a married man who loved his wife and children but than came envolved with a young white women from his place of employment. His wife than found out and basically lost her mind and wanted nothing to do with Flipper. Towards the end of this film Flipper knew what was best for him and that was to try to make the relationship work with his wife for the better. His wife tried but couldnt forgive him for cheating on him with a white women. This film for the most part did catch my attention. But would I buy it...No..Its not something that I would watch again.
