I have always loved Dolly Parton, but this was embarrassing. Every close-up of her was painfully uncomfortable to watch--and when it came to acting, well, let's just be nice and say she didn't show up for rehearsal.
The plot was so poor it was as if they made it up as they went along--just so they could have something in between songs. The only thing good you can say is that the singing was nice, and Queen's daughter and Dolly's grandson were fun to watch and listen to.
Oh, and one more good point, when the kids sing at the end, they're terrific.
