Churches are not perfect because the people in them aren't. Unfortunately, people lose focus of what is important--BUT his movie is just that...a movie. it is supposed to be entertaining. Perhaps the movie can serve as a lesson?

Free of sex? Really Refreshing Alice? One of my biggest complaints was the two members of the choir hooking up, as in having sex.

The movie was very uplifting and true to realty. Not fair to hope God passed it by. Maybe you would have more fun attending the latest Vampire click.

If you dont like Dolly or Queen, why did you go see the movie? Just so you could talk bad of both of them! My Grandpa aways told me "If you dont have anything good to say, them dont say anything"

Loved it. Made me want to sing and dance with them. If you want to be filled with the lord's spirit you'll find it with those young performers.

I seen this movie this past weekend with my Wife. She enjoyed the movie a lot more than I did. I'd give it a b- as a grade. It was painful at times to watch, but had a few humorous lines in it.

It was not worth seeing. That is Not Gospel music or nothing like it. It is contemporary music. This movie had that "sister act" feel. and sure enough even right up to the end the robes came off during their competition singing. For a church gospel choir and people who are supposed to be christians, fornication and cussing didn't seem to bother them at all. But this is Hollywoods version on Christians. Waste of money, I am sorry I went.

Granted Dolly's procedures have reached a limit. However, the movie was uplifting, smile inducing, toe tapping and humorous. Pretty shallow reason not to enjoy a film. Here's hoping that your nightmares never get beyond this, then you will really be BLESSED. Good luck!!

Get over it. You should feel fortunate that this can qualify as one of your worst experiences.

Poor thing, that you should spend $10 and lose an hour. The music and humor was very good. There were also messages for all to consider.

really, how did you see that in this movie? Because, this movie really missed it on all fronts! Accountability for you actions, cursing in church, talking back to your parents, running off and not to mention the winning is more important than God! I really would like to know what movie you were watching to think this was a family film.

Recommend "Time Changer" to put this movie in perspective and to understand that in our day, the culture has invaded the church and our salt and light are compromised. This is Hollywood's view of church life, just as the NBC TV series based upon the excellent movie, Friday Night Lights revised the Christian message into something else.
