Any time the 'professional' critics rate a movie higher than the general public, you have to stand up and ask, why? - since it's usually the other way around (99.9% of the time). Critics say B+ and users say B. Either way that's pretty good, but why do the critics like it a '+' more than the users? The answer is comparison. Unlike the general public, the 'pro' critics are able to compare the movie to the 200 or so other movies they've seen and subjectively reveiwed in the last year. That's what the '+' is, and that's significant.

Jerry Maguire is probably one of my top 5 movies of all time, along with Ben Hur, Titanic, The Godfather and Rocky.
