I just came back from seeing the movie and I must say it sucks huge, hairy, sweaty testicles. I give it a D- only for the funny as hell 10 minute opening which was a rip off from Full Metal Jacket but a good remake.
I think it is fair to say that pretty much the whole movie was a rip off of every major motion picture on war however bad. Everything in this movie was piss poor and fake but to top all were the Iraqi artillery shells exploding all around the main character at a distance of less than 15 feet and all that happened to him was that he pissed himself while standing mezmerized and contemplating the fact that "the war" has started. Jarhead (the dude) was played by the actor who did the Bubble Boy too and Jamie Fox was in it only 'cause I'm sure they threw truckloads of money at him.
There was absolutely no plot.
And the movie was simply full of stupid lies, inconsistencies and bad special effects. There was only one decent snapper in it and she, of course, cheated on Bubble Boy before he landed in the desert.
