I am normaly cautious about seeing fantasy movies. They can
either be really good, or really bad. But I thougth JACK THE
GIANT SLAYER was REALLY, REALLY GOOD! Though I
thought the acting by Nicholas Hoult, and Ewan McGregor could have been stronger, they still did a good job.
As far as the special effects go, they are Awesome!! The giants
look very real, and very scary (maybe too scary for younger kids). I also thougt the story was good too.
All in all, I think this movie is just as good, if not a little better, than Hansel and Gretel, which I also gave 4 out of 5 stars.
