I liked this movie from the beginning till the end, it had allot of my favorite players like Tucci, Ewan and Nighy, and it brings a little twist to one of the oldest stories in history. The players get along well with each other and the special effects are good. The giants are creepy and disgusting and I found myself wanting to give them a good scrubbing everytime they appeared on screen. The love interest isn’t over done and the violence is applied just the right way to satisfy the gore mongers, nothing graphic or too intense especially for the young ones. Jack is a good film and you’ll want to see it on the big screen, don’t bother with the 3D, it’s not really 3D it’s more like Hi-Def. You’ll enjoy this family fllm, it’s safe enough to bring the kids and not have to cover their eyes and ears at the gory, sexy or foul language scenes so you can relax, and enjoy.
