I just came back with my teenage nephew and we both couldn't stop talking about how much we liked this movie. It was bad#$%$ with plenty of humor and smarts. I can't stand this people who keep comparing movies to books. They are different mediums and intended for different audiences, Each medium should be able to stand on its own merit without the burden of the other. If you can't accept that don't see this movie. If you can't get pass Tom Cruise's physicality or persona then don't see this movie. If you just want a good time at the movies then do yourself a favor and see this movie.
