Tom Cruise is great as usual. I liked this movie a lot better than his mission impossible ghost protocol. I had not read the original book on Jack Reacher and was not aware of the plot and that helps. My only complaint, I thought the action scenes were pretty dumb and they could have done better. Like, Reacher gets smashed in the head with a rod/bat and nothing even close to serious happens to him ? Bullets from several machine guns maim the Mercedes which he has driving backwards and, he jumps out without even a scratch. Just sayin!
