When I am reading a Jack Reacher novel and picture Jack Reacher in my mind, Tom Cruise is not what I see. Cruise is an excellent actor and portrays Reacher well in this movie, but an actor such as Jim Caviezel, who plays Reese on the TV show "Person of Interest" would be ideal in the role. He is a tall, good looking man who is physically intimidating with a voice and demeanor that can give you the feeling he is a someone to be trusted or feared. As I think back to the many confrontations Jack Reacher found himself in, I can see Jim Caviezel calculating what will happen next and handling the situation with the least amount of effort needed. I feel he would be a perfect fit for the next Jack Reacher movie.
