I've read all the Jack Reacher novels and while I couldn't resist seeing the movie I went expecting to be disappointed. I was not. Tom Cruise did an excellent job portraying Jack Reacher. It was a great movie in the tradition of great movies. Reacher is a character much more interesting than Bond, much more complicated. This is a movie with a story - one that doesn't depend on gagetry. Now I eagerly wait for the next one.
