Over the weekend I watched a movie that came out in 2009 called invictus, starring Matt damn and Morgan Freeman. This movie is based off a true story from Nelson Mandela in south Africa and how his impact on a rugby team changed a nation. Nelsons plan was to unite the two fans of one rugby team by making the rugby team itself unite with the fans making them all one. By doing this he thinks that it will make the nation whole making the nation work together instead of against each-other. Matt Damon's character is the captain of the rugby team and is inspired by Freeman's character (Mandela). This seems like a small thing by winning a champion chip in a sport a team sport where everyone hated the team and plus the team never really won or even was a contender for championship material.The acting in this movie was great spot on and perfect,Clint Eastwood did an amazing job directing this movie and choosing the actors. I love the sport rugby and now im looking to learn the sport more and more.I'm a huge fan for the underdog and true stories.The downside to this movie is that the rugby scenes wasn't as long as I hopped they would be. The last downside of this movie is that the story and the direction of the movie is easy to know and understand.Other than that I can see this movie as an amazing movie that everyone would pick.Please rent this movie or watch it online you will be truly touched.
